Chanthaburi Wats
Somdej Prachao Taksin Maharat Shrine is dedicated to King Taksin the Great who used Chanthaburi as one of his staging posts as he gathered forces before proceeding to defeat the Burmese in battle. The shrine is styled after the headgear seen in depictions of King Taksin.
Next to the shrine is San Lak Muang, a splendidly colourful Chinese temple.
