Bang Saray
The wat is situated on a hill 5 kms inland from Bang Saray in Sattahip District, Chonburi. Also known as the ‘Temple of Mercy’, it seems that the ordination of ladies is a frequent occurrence. It is not well sign-posted, so you will need to follow your app route as you approach the hill. Once up there you have a partial view as far as the coast, and also an unobstructed view inland. The grounds have several mondops (pavilions) to explore and many Buddha statues in gold.
