As your out-of-the-way drive approaches Wat Neramit, visible on a hilltop in the distance for some time, you may be forgiven for wondering what the fuss was all about. The unprepossessing exterior with an ubosot (ordination hall) featuring laterite brickwork, certainly doesn't look too promising. Once you step inside, you instantly get it.
