This wat, known as the ‘Temple on the Glass Cliff’, can be seen from a long way off as you approach it in Khao Kho National Park. On a hill 830 metres high, it appears as a white dot across the valley standing out from its surroundings. It is made up of five Buddhas nested in lotus position. Apparently, it represents the five Buddhas who have visited earth. It is a fairly new wat, only begun in 2004, but very photogenic for its uniqueness - from all angles. Expect crowds, even though there is no public transport from any of the nearby towns.
