Wat Khao Tabaek is inland from Laem Chabang and Sriracha in Chonburi. You buy a set of ribbons upon entry, the money being a donation towards the temple upkeep. Pretty soon you realise what a winning idea this has been. The whole forest is garlanded with mini-sashes, each inscribed with your wish or prayer for the visit (a table with biros sits just before the entrance). Then through the looking-glass we go. The way to the wat involves hundreds of steps, so take your time - expect sore legs later! There is also a glass skywalk for a 40 baht add-on.
