Wat Khao Pho Thong is next to the south shore of Lake Mabprachan in Banglamung, a district 12 kms outside of Pattaya. I must have driven past it on the way to work for many years, but never went in until today (June '22). There used to be tour buses lined up at weekends, especially with Chinese tourists pre-Covid, and it has always been at the forefront of community events - ceremonies and fairs. It is very colourful, as shown here, but being a sleepy afternoon, I couldn't find out anything about its history. Perhaps next time!
