Pattaya, 120 kms south of Bangkok, gets a lot of bad press for all the obvious reasons. However, there are many expats living and working locally and across the Eastern Seaboard. If you know where to locate then you have access to beaches, golf courses, malls, and whatever you need, without getting tangled up with the downtown stuff. Most of the pictures here were taken during the pandemic, so there were very few people about, except for weekends. The photo of the speedboats lined up, early morning waiting for package tourists tells a different story. Will it return to that? Who knows!
