The Bangkok Bank CycleFest 2019 was an exciting event. Held over two days in November next to the Siam Country Club Golf Course; the circuits were 90 kms and 60 kms, with an all-comers entry roster, as well as a 65+. Even at that time of year, the conditions were sweltering. It was quite a slog up the steepest part by the railway carriages, and that had to be negotiated at least six times. The top teams were serious riders, ​and fair play to the casuals who entered and finished the race - medics were only in play a couple of times when I was there!
