August 06, 1945 - the story doesn't need telling here. As you approach the station and the name scrolls up on the screen in the carriage, there is no doubt that you are arriving at one of those places in history. What follows is several hours of wandering around absorbing surroundings, gardens, and displays at the beautifully curated museum. And wondering, about everything really... Exiting the station I was struck by the calm and quiet and, dare I say, peacefulness of the 'healed' landscape on a sunny spring day like this.
