The Erawan Museum in Samut Prakan Province is on the outskirts of Bangkok. You can get there via the BTS and a taxi. The museum features a bronze, 39 metre-tall three-headed elephant. It is owned by Lek Viriyapant who also developed the Sanctuary of Truth in Pattaya and Meuang Boran or Ancient City (see separate pages). The inside of the museum is modelled on the Hindu view of the universe, the three floors depicting the underworld, the human world and heaven.
